My niece shared with me one of her Best Christmases Ever! Her husband and their son decorate their home every year with a different theme. They are so enthusiastic that many of the neighbors join in the fun by decorating their homes too. One day, a neighbor brought cookies over to them. This individual wanted to express their gratitude of how much the decorations meant to them every year.
In the same week, the doorbell rang as someone took off in a car. My niece found a package of goodies left at the door with a note. The note read that they had been “Elfed.” On the letter from the elf, it suggested to pass along the good cheer to others on the block. The children were thrilled!
The Holiday fun continued with several Carolers strolling along in song. Happiness and joy is living in a good community.
