Follow these few tips for a great time during Carnival time. The parade routes are crowded so make preparations a head of time. Let your friends know a time and place where you will be, and the side of street. Bathrooms will be crowded so hand sanitizer and toilet paper will be a must. Wear comfortable shoes, layered clothing, and bring something such as a back pack, pillow case or bag for all your prizes. Be considerate of others around you, and do not grab throws from children. Track the parade early by using several tracking systems, (sometimes parades can be canceled due to weather, starting late, etc.) Do not wear valuable jewelry so it won’t get lost along the parade route or in a crowd. Bring cash since vendors, restaurants, and bars might accept cash only. Most of all….enjoy!
