One of the most popular traditions of New Orleans wedding is the Second Line. The Band leads the bridal party and the guests from the ceremony to the reception. The bride and groom have decorative parasols and the guests in the second line wave handkerchiefs or napkins to celebrate the happy couple. Another tradition is the Cake Pull which dates back to the Victorian days. Charms are placed into the wedding cake and all the single lades pull a ribbon with a charm for good luck before the cake is cut. Each charm has a special meaning. Best wishes on your Wedding Day!
