Grandma’s old time remedy for cleaning hardwood is inexpensive and really works! A great cleaning solution to get up the dirt and grime is vinegar and water. The secret is not using too much water or vinegar. Use about a 1/2 cup vinegar to a gallon of warm water.
Make sure that you use a mop, preferably a sponge mop, so that you can squeeze out the excess water. Too much water can cause several problems and damage to your hardwood. Keep a mixture in a spray bottle to clean up the little messes. This floor cleaner is also ECCO friendly!
